When Tampa Bay Food Tours is looking for a dessert that truly impresses, we head straight to Sucré Table. This charming coffee and pastry shop is the creation of award-winning pastry chef Brenda Villacorta, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America who refined her craft in some of New York City's most celebrated Michelin-starred kitchens. Every pastry is as beautiful as it is delicious, showcasing classic French techniques with creative, modern flavors and impeccable presentation. Whether you're stopping in for a flaky croissant, an elegant cake, or one of their signature desserts, you'll quickly understand why this has become one of our favorite sweet spots in Tampa. Don't skip the coffee menu. Their specialty drinks are just as memorable as the pastries, with favorites like the Lavender Latte, White Chocolate Pistachio Latte, Matcha Lavender Latte, and additional seasonal specials offers something completely different. They've also expanded next door with Le Marché, an elegant artisan bakery and gourmet market featuring gourmet pantry items and carefully curated culinary finds that let you bring a little of the Sucré Table experience home. Excellent coffee and outstanding service! This is one of the best coffee spots at Tampa Bay for a perfectly crafted barista made drink. They also have a fantastic selection of fresh bakery goods, buttery croissants, sweet pastries, and delicious savory options. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the quality is consistently excellent. Highly recommend this place for breakfast, a quick snack, or your daily coffee!

I have said this since Sucré opened, having posted this establishment's most glowing review all those years ago; I have said this since I first bit into one of Brenda's incandescent kouign amanns; and l have said this to Brenda's time and again: she is an absolute maestro of viennoiserie and the kouign amann is her magnum opus. Every French baker is only as good as his or her KA, and Brenda's would make most bakers in Brittany and Lyon a little nervous. Unlike flaky or bready kouign amanns, Sucré's bleed butter, even post bake. Biting into the gooey, rich core is to experience superlative pastry mastery. The scraps tightly packed into the center, pre-bake, are are simple touch of genius that adds bulk, richness, and dripping, melty butter that has somehow survived the bake without fully integrating into the dough. And if your palate is not coated with premium butter, is it an authentic French experience, really? Brenda's is arguably singularly the best in Florida and the entire South, and could vie for best in the country; on par with the likes of Arsicault. She puts Domnic Ansel's DKA to utter shame; and, in most respects, blows the likes of Bachour and Yann Couvreur out of the

The food is good but overpriced. All the way from Philly to try this place. I've come here a few times but today I noticed the blond lady I guess one of the bakers she touched her nose and didn't see her wash her hands. After eating more than half my food I noticed a baked hair on my food very disgusted to see a cooked hair on my food. I also noticed the Bakers don't wear hair nets. The pastry good presentation some are sweater than others. I ordered ice tea and got a red flavored ice tea. It was okay. Gave it 1 stars because of the hair, not wearing hair net and because the blonde lady touching her nose. FYI I usually take a picture of food before eating it after I noticed the hair on my food I went back to the photo and sure enough BAM here it it. Disgusting!

A locally owned gourmet bakery in the heart of Tampa, FL featuring award-winning baker Brenda Villacorta and her one-of-a-kind pastry and drink creations. The space is quaint, modern but inviting. The pastries are truly the star of the show. I stopped in around 4 PM and parking was easy to find. The service was also excellent. The person behind the counter was very welcoming and even helped recommend pastries based on our palate preferences, which made the experience feel more personal and thoughtful. What l ordered: two pastries, the strawberry Japanese cheesecake and the goat cheese carrot cake. The strawberry Japanese cheesecake ($15) was a perfect balance of fruity freshness and caramelized richness with a creamy finish. It was not overly sweet and the fruit and cream notes really stood out in every bite. The goat cheese carrot cake ($16) was my favorite. I would go back just for this. It was moist, rich, and had a tangy goat cheese filling that created a very creamy, complex flavor profile. So delicious! The prices are on the steeper side but I love a baker who knows their worth. Totally worth it for the quality.
